suckerPUNCH: describe your project.
anna STUERZENBECHER, johan TALI + daniel PROST: it is our aim to explore spaces of transition. as this is a concert-hall and pop music center project we were dealing with characteristics of sound, for example gradients or dissolving masses.

the two ends of the site are connected by bands of walkable surface which form a landscape. the performance spaces (such as the concert-hall or clubs) distort these bands and create ramp systems which describe space. instead of a closed envelope the ramp/ balcony system acts as a transition zone for music to warp into the surrounding public areas creating a ambient composition of sound and space.
the building is enclosed by a braiding which constantly interweaves between the exterior and interior. it fades out the borders
