METALAB architecture + fabrication: An open air structure next to a pond on campus. The lower cells will be filled with growing medium and vegetation will grow into the frame over time.
sP: what or who influenced this project?
METALAB architecture + fabrication: It was based on historic research and tectonic resolution of Frederick Keisler’s unbuilt Grotto for Meditation from 1963.
sP: what were you reading/listening to/watching while developing this project? Frederick Kiesler, Endless Space
