HU Enigma
Pedro Urano’s meditation on architecture and the human conditions is first and foremost a cinematic portrait of the University Hospital in Rio de Janeiro, a structure that uniquely embodies modernism’s utopic project and its ruin. Urano’s camera alternates between fluidity and stasis, juxtaposing tableaus of decay with the daily activity of a working hospital.

Followed by a Q&A with Ed Keller and Carla Leitao (AUM Studio), moderated by Anthony Titus.
