suckerPUNCH: Describe your project.

​Dionysus CHO, Anne MA, & Daniel NGUYEN: ​Finding precedent in the process of kitbashing—​originating in ​model trains—we took existing 3-D models with their own level of detail and then composed a new significant form from these models.

​The aim was to create a high-resolution, 3-D printed physical space out of the conglomeration of disparate digital entities. Materials and texture were used regardless of original object intentions.

​The sci-fi world of kitbashing and unlimited ornamentation/articulation enters the real world.​​ . . .
