Studying an extraordinary range of architecture, sculpture, and painting from the most ancient to the most recent time in Rome, Florence, Mantua, Vicenza, and Venice, students will learn contemporary, generative design methods which draw upon these canonical examples. The course will survey different periods each week and combines excursions with production in the Trastevere Pratt GAUD Studios.
