Zachary Kile: The Proposal for a new parking garage in the Chuo District of Tokyo drew inspiration from Tokyo’s rich and thriving sub-culture and anti-culture scene.

The parking garage is a mixed-use building that accepts non-hierarchically all cultures and constituencies from urban Tokyo. The interior spaces become locations for self-reflection, performance, and group engagement, all the while allowing the density of Japan to continue growing thanks to innovative mechanical parking structures.”
