Profiles of the vernacular present themselves and in doing so, a new part to whole emerges. Through this methodology, new ways to interrogate form and aesthetics develop. The collaboration of non-human agents in this project acts as a finical means to generate capital for the branch library while also aging the building to a whimsical state that engenders estranged conditions of rurality. This project uses the profile in unison with the qualities of relief to generate monolithic forms that become broken down by material properties that confront the aesthetics and formal qualities that persist beyond the perceived.
