Exquisite Corpses: This Post-Professional design studio allows students an opportunity to choose a series of methods and media articulating an area of focus and testing for design research that is cultivated over the three semester MS Arch curriculum.

The course focuses on advanced design methods of architectural visualization and architectural fabrication (or those in between) through a full semester, small scale project. The studio emphasizes the disciplinary aspects of architectural mediums, their design methods and outputs that can range from proto-architectures to project proposals depending on the instructor. Studios on architectural visualization will explore co-evolutionary relationships between architecture and live media through contemporary technologies such as animation, augmented reality and virtual reality. Studios on architectural fabrication will explore digital to physical techniques, multi-modal/multi material modeling and ways in which the fabrication of models and proto-types might influence the future of constructed architectural entities.
