suckerPUNCH: describe your project.
art:tech: my artworks are mostly pen on a4 size paper and digitally colored. the reason i choose a4 size plain white paper as my canvas is to challenge myself to create neat and detailed line art on a piece of normal-everyday-easy-to-get plain white paper. i also work on other different mediums and sizes as well.
sP: what or who influenced this project?
a:t: most of the time, if someone ask me about influence, i would answer ‘back to the future’ trilogy. that’s one thing i remembered watching and inspiring me to draw machines. other than that would be the dragon ball comics.
sP: what were you reading/listening to/watching while developing this project?
a:t: i listen to a lot of post-hardcore, punk rock, smooth jazz and metal stuff. I don’t usually read a lot, i buy art books with plenty images rather than words. I do my reading on the internet.
sP: whose work is currently on your radar?
a:t: i can only remember a few names in my top list artist, aj FOSIK, mark RYDEN, tatsuyuki TANAKA and meyoko are amongst them.
