suckerPUNCH: describe your project
stephen e. MORA: this project addresses the conventional use of the architectural joint and attempts to transform it into a generative element that becomes dialogic with the other building components. typically the joint is understood and treated as a responsive element that allows the resolution of complex curvature and negotiation of building systems. in short, it is the point of junction between components. though formal exploration, the joint is used to develop an architectural language that has the capacity to work on a gradient of scales and levels.
