balloon twisting champ, daisy, has taken balloon fabrication from the flower shop to the runway. nested inflated forms in gentle hues flow across the female form. these balloon dresses conceptually operate as scales on snakeskin while at the same time embodying a fragility threatened by movement. beautifully minimal photographs by mamoru horiguchi highlights the sophisticated patterns and surfaces generated by the aggregated balloons.
