suckerPUNCH: describe your project.
eric BATTINO: this project celebrates the connections between differing systems. using viral examples to serve as precedents i formed transitional spaces which grow from the infected locales of the project, creating useful mutations. just as a virus intelligently attacks a host, my viral organisms use the language/topology of the base structure to attach, penetrate, synthesize, replicate, assemble and mature. the base structure provides a fertile breeding ground for the viral organisms, who in turn solve the architectural issue of the transition. this symbiotic viral condition results in a beautifully grotesque new architecture with infinite possibilities for dynamic growth.
