Nicolas ROEG’S thriller stars Julie Chrystie and Donald Sutherland as an architect working in Venice. They meet a strange woman there who seems to be able to communicate with their deceased young daughter. From there the canals and alleys of Venice slowly become a terrifying cage for their unsettling fears and premonitions.
