suckerPUNCH: describe your project.

abstract BIRDS: Cinematica: This project is based on a particle system that simulates the behaviour of particles influenced by forces in the space. Forces are generated by specific sources that create wave ripples. the wave accumulation create a complex force field and make the particles moving in organic shapes.

Minerals: This project is a study based on the possibilities of creating a flowing moltitude of objects. Crystals are constrained to an hidden surface and their position is influenced by it’s deformations.

it’s started as a technical experiment and then i just found lovely how the crystals seems to dive into a flowing space, like salmons swimming and jumping in a river.

sP: what or who influenced this project?

aB: Cinematics: this experiments came after reading many interesting articles about Cymatics studies.Cymatics (from Greek: ??µa “wave”) is the study of visible sound and vibration. all the great studies from Ernst Chladni to Hans Jenny inspired me in finding a relationship between forces and shape. it’s fascinating how matter exposed to energy reveals its own nature…

Minerals: Definitively i was inspired by nature and it’s forces

aB: Can’t remember exactly… long time ago 🙂
