suckerPUNCH: describe your project.
markéta RICHTEROVÁ: I presented my new collections in Superstudio at Designblok ’10. The event was held in Prague in October 2010 having water as its main thematic focus. The individual pieces of jewelry were scattered on a so-called Afloat installation by Zbyněk Krulich and looked like reflecting on water surface. They included Droplets and Bubbles earings made of clear perspex as well as Red Droplets made of epoxy and Black Droplets made of carbon fibres.
Exclusive Carbon Pearls necklaces were complemented with a renewed collection of carbon bracelets. My recent works going beyond the edge of jewelry include handbags called Seeds. Only three pieces of luxury handbags are made of carbon fibres, silver and leather, satin or silk. The handbags are very light and smooth; their haptic form makes wearing them easy.
