vladimir BULATOV: Hi-tech process of direct metal printing is used to transform mathematical ideas into real life beautiful objects. Some mathematical description is available at bulatov.org/math/
sP: what or who influenced this project?
vB: My favorite artists are Salvador Dali and M.C.Escher.
Another source of inspiration is my educational background in theoretical physics.
sP: what were you reading/listening to/watching while developing this project?
vB: I love to watch movies of Tim Burton, Terry Gilliam, Darren Aronofsky, Anrey Tarkovskiy. Recently I read mosly mathematical books. I like music of Pink Floyd and Tchaikovsky.
sP: whose work is currently on your radar?
vB: Something like this I hope to create some day:
