    amila HRUSTIC: The collection consists of five unique dresses handcrafted from a combination of textiles and paper. The main inspiration for the entire Collection is located in Platonic solids. Plato, the great Greek philosopher, studied what we now call “Platonic solids”. No one knows who first described the shapes of these bodies, perhaps early Pythagoreans, but some, including Euclid, say that it was a close friend of Plato’s Theaetetus.

    gillian SHAFFER & justin HATTENDORF: Columbia Center for Competitive Rowing merges the rich history of boat fabrication techniques with the uniquely American attitude of competitive rowing, that which is rooted in the public spectator event. Rather than limiting the experience of the shoreline to Columbia University the building shell peels backwards, exposing itself to become one with the fabric of the Spuyten Duyvil waterfront.

The search is for new forms, types and assemblies of architecture more or less centered theory and research into the future of architecture with the space of cities.     The project is an examination of the relationship between a pristine rural landscape and the advancing forces of a rapidly growing city. Galaxy Yabao Hi-Tech Enterprises Headquarter Park is close to the central zone of Futian District, Shenzhen China. The Gross site area is about 65 ha; and the GFA is over 1,050,000 sqm, consisting of 18 high-rise towers ranging from 100-300 meters tall, a 5 star hotel, 3 service apartment towers, 3 residential towers, a shopping mall and a 32 ha park.

    For the first time, Sbarro abandons combustion engines and fits an electric motor to a sporty concept: two Recaro bucket seats with harness, a 100kW motor (136hp) located at the rear powers the vehicle weighting only 980kg . . . The concept receives 19” OZ lightweight wheels, and the LiFePO4 batteries located on the side of the vehicle allow a 180km range, last but not least, the Intencity is rear-wheel drive . . .
