The Immersive Kinematics Group at PennDesign presents a culmination of semester-long research between two overlapping, but never same-set domains: Art and Design. Steven and Billy Dufala have worked with Simon Kim to produce a show called Nervous Matter, discussing machines in architecture and working with the idea of design agency among humans and reactive materials to create a new medium of design—exhibiting traits of interaction and charm. Nervous Matter has been supported by the RAIR program at Revolution Recovery.
