The conference will bring together for the first time the two leading figures in the field, Enrico Dini (Monolite UK) the inventor of D-Shape, and Behrokh Khoshnevis (USC) the inventor of Contour Crafting. Michael Hansmeyer (ETH Zurich) and Neil Leach (USC/DIA) will also be taking part.

Dini has collaborated with Foster and Partners on a European Space Agency funded research project to explore the potential use of D-Shape on the Moon, while Khoshnevis and Leach are NASA Innovative Advanced Concept fellows exploring the potential use of Contour Crafting on the Moon and Mars.
