“Mountains, Clouds, and Cities” is a cross-disciplinary workshop organized by the architectural department at the University of Pennsylvania.

Students of architecture, preferably based in Athens, are invited to join a group of graduate and undergraduate students of Architecture and Landscape Architecture from PennDesign for a week long workshop along the axis of scrutinizing the relationship between geographical, geological, and meteorological elements of the site and the build form they generate using generative digital tools. The workshop will use parametric tools to represent, fabricate, and reiterate selected land formations and cloud-structure approximations.
Daily lectures and digital tutorials, led by Sofia Krimizi and Ezio Blasetti, will take place at the Benaki Museum from the 13th until the 20th of June. A final review, installation, and discussion will take place the last day of the workshop.
