gabriel ESQUIVEL : The “Bunny” is part of a series of projects that investigate geometry from developable surfaces to weaving methods in architecture. In an effort to investigate surface logics consisting of highly porous, irregularly defined weaving systems a series of investigative strategies were employed.

We have our 3D glasses on and don’t plan on taking them off till Labor Day. The summer movie season is upon us and the weather’s calling for another of Michael Bay’s annual shitstorms. This year promises creepier zombies, longer hangovers, sexier vampires, seedier drug trades, younger superheroes, and grittier pirates. Always the optimist, Lars Von Trier delivers his feel bad movie about two sisters, charlotte Gainsbourg and Kirsten Dunst, and the way they deal with the impeding end of the world. The teasers look stunning, shame Von Trier hasn’t gone to 3D. Fingers crossed for Antichrist 2 (might as well also use John Waters’s Odorma)…

Terrence Malick is on a tear, 2 movies in 6 years! Tree of Life couldn’t seem more overambitious, great to see him take it on. His films are some of the most beautifully shot of the second half of the 20th century. It divided the crowd at cannes but sP loves all his films so we’re ready to be dazzled.
