Marie-Sophie STARLINGER: The exploration of the relationship of inside to outside has been a constant in the discipline. Two main approaches have flourished in the architectural discourse in the past decades: the visual perception of exterior and interior, and the physical relationship of envelope to interior mass.

Looking every centimetre a road-legal racer, Kia’s new provo concept, unveiled at the 83rd Salon International De l’Auto in Geneva, mixes ultra-modern technology with a self-confident and agile look to deliver an exciting new B-segment car for enthusiasts.
The sleek, low, yet muscular coupe-style hatchback mixes a petrol-fuelled turbo-charged engine with clever regenerative-electric motors to bring a smart-hybrid solution to this fun-focused concept that points to Kia Motors’ future B-segment expansion plans.

Jorge AYALA: The existential crisis happening in the last years offered new potentials of engaging with art, culture and technology. Within this context, Jorge Ayala’s Cabinet of Post-digital Curiosities offers different directions to today’s rapid prototyping society culture. As a critical position to the so-called parametricism, the installation reverses the sterile and monochrome of the “digital legacy,” toward a post-digital instance were computational operates as the outset, rather than the outcome.
