Yueming ZHOU & Yunyun HUANG: The study is inspired by wave interference, which is a good example of how global behavior emerged based on local interactions. Further more study of simulating behavior of fabric pleating—global behavior when fabric is applied with external force or force fields. All the research is aimed at proposing a way of design in architecture which perceives the site as a system consist of local related matter as corresponding to input force or other form of stimulation together to present a global outcome.
