The newly opened structure features strength, conditioning, and study spaces for Columbia athletes, offices for their coaches, meeting rooms, and panoramic views of Inwood Hill Park, playing fields, and the elevated No. 1 line as it passes between Manhattan and the Bronx. Steven Holl delivers an on-site lecture on the building’s design and creation—from watercolor sketch to concrete and steel.
