    Jeffrey LEE: A new grandstand is designed for the existing Sambadrome at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The development aims to regenerate the place and surrounding area to hold a larger amount of spectators by providing more seats and standing platforms. A larger area of the site is covered to enable comprehensive wider angle of views towards the parade. The curvilinear and sensual rising platforms have added a new elevation to the context.

  • Digital Novelty: Crystallised Geometrics

    Over 100 iterations and studies which challenges, and produced through, the premise of digital production and analogue tooling, “Digital Novelty” is a series of design-research that is an intersection between of platonic solids and the notion of basic geometric shapes, assisted by 3-D modelling software (Rhinoceros 3D), 3-D printing technologies (additive manufacturing processes), and hand-drawn inked on vellum exercises. The research and development of “Digital Novelty: Crystallised Geometrics” reveals itself through a feedback system that carefully interrogates a simple method of production and design.

    HONG KONG — Golden Connection, two light sculpture installations by Peruvian artist Grimanesa Amorós, was featured at BAZAAR ART NIGHT on May 23rd, 2013 at the Four Seasons Hotel.     Andreas KOSTOPOULOS & Hayley WONG: A nightclub is situated in Hong Kong, in Victoria Harbour, in order to provide a range of experiences for different audiences based on their distance and degree of enclosure. Those viewing the nightclub from the tallest skyscrapers retain a generalized perception that is also altered by the building’s reflected image in the water, which remains unseen to those within the night club.
